- Can You Hear Me?
Libby Welsh is an actor, dancer, choreographer and access consultant. She also has profound bilateral senso-neural hearing loss, and was implanted at the age of 14. She's 90% regular human, 10% terminator, and a little bit weird – but absolutely determinedly unpretentious.
Libby has provided accessibility services for South East Dance, Dance Artists National Collective NYC, EDI Committee, and Tramp. As a performer, she has played the leads in multiple award winning short film Alder, and in stage play Blow: A deaf girl’s fight (Charlie Hartill Award Finalist, Vault Origin Nominee) which she co-wrote. Other credits include Stephen Poliakoff’s Summer of Rockets for BBC and independent feature film Home Fires.
Libby has a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from Trinity Laban and trained in Meisner Technique with The Impulse Company.
